Ascension is started by resources having strong experience in SAP in consumer goods, retail, life sciences, financial services and public sector industries. The founder of Ascension has more than 18 years of experience having implemented SAP from version 3.1H to S/4HANA. He is certified in six SAP modules and is a CPA and has his MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
What truly sets Ascension apart is the breadth of credentials our team brings to every engagement. Our founder alone holds designations as a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, Certified General Accountant, and Certified Public Accountant across India, Canada, and the United States, along with an MBA from NYU Stern, Microsoft certifications in systems engineering and solutions development, an Oracle DBA credential, an AWS Solution Architect certification, and status as a Certified Hedge Fund Professional. Before founding Ascension, our leadership spent five years in public accounting as auditors, building the discipline and skepticism that good financial controls require, and then spent the following years leading SAP implementations for Fortune 100 clients at Intelligroup, IBM, SAP itself, Deloitte, and Accenture. That progression matters: we understand financial operations from the inside because we were trained as auditors first, and we understand enterprise technology because we spent years implementing it at the highest level for the world’s largest companies.
